5 Ply Insulated
Architectural Panel
Similar to a veneer panel, 5 ply insulated panels utilize metal exterior and interior
skins finished to meet the desired aesthetic. The skins are supported by a substrate, either a Tempered Hardboard HDBD or High Density Polypropylene HDPP, that serves as a stabilizer to insure flatness. The core, or insulation, of the 5 ply panel can either be an Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) or a Polyisocyanurate (ISO) product. Five ply insulated panels are designed for 1” glazing pockets, however insulated panels are available in thicknesses up to 4”.
