3 Ply Veneer
Traditionally a 3 ply veneer panel utilizes metal exterior and interior skins, supported by a tempered hardboard (HDBD) or a lightweight high density polypropylene (HDPP) substrate. Three ply panels offer impact resistance and if moisture is a concern, Interstate’s honeycomb HDPP core allows for zero moisture absorption, offering an advantage to traditional fluted stabilizers. Interstate’s laminating and curing process creates a high quality finished product with exceptional strength and flatness.
5 Ply Insulated
Similar to a veneer panel, 5 ply insulated panels utilize metal exterior and interior skins finished to meet the desired aesthetic. The skins are supported by a substrate, either a HDBD or HDPP, that serves as a stabilizer to insure flatness. The core, or insulation, of the 5 ply panel can either be an Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) or a Polyisocyanurate (ISO) product. Five ply insulated panels are designed for 1” glazing pockets, however insulated panels are available in thicknesses up to 4”.- Insulated
Glass Clad Insulated
Seeking a more consistent glass design on your building? Interstate Panel offers glass clad insulated panels that use a silicone based paint on the #2 surface of the glass substrate adhered directly to the insulating core. The core, or insulation, of the glass clad panel can either be an Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) or a Polyisocyanurate (ISO) product. Glass Clad insulated panels are designed for 1” glazing pockets, however insulated panels are available in thicknesses up to 4”.
